Impact Assessment of Diverse EV Charging Infrastructures on Overall Service Reliability

A higher penetration of EVs may pose several challenges to the power systems, including reliability issues. To analyze impact on a detailed EV charging infrastructure is considered in this study. All possible locations (home, workplace, public locations, and commercial fast chargers) different levels (level 1, level 2, DC charging) are considered, seven infrastructures determined first. Then, each using two widely used indices, i.e., loss load expectation (LOLE) energy (LOEE).
